Director of Football at the Jamaica Football Federation and HVFC Technical Director, Vin Blaine, says there will be a renewed effort to certify more female coaches.

Several active national players took part in the one week FIFA course which ended on Friday at the federation’s head office.

Blaine said female coaches are now at a disadvantage to improve their craft or even get in the game due to the dominance of their male counterparts. However, given the mandate of football’s governing body FIFA, Blaine says things will change going forward.
