The “Stars of the East” struck two telling blows last evening at the Compound, as a convincing 3-1 defeat of title aspirants and Portland flag-bearers, St. George’s Sports Club at the Compound, in a replayed feature.

This was closely followed by a halftime announcement of PURITY BAKERY as the “Official Bakery” of the Harbour View Football Club to the value of $800,000 in cash and products for the next three years, by CEO Vincent Chang to Club Chairman, Carvel Stewart and players.

Home supporters cheered them on as the CEO Vincent Chang and Marketing Officer, Shawn Pinnock with the visiting 23 members of Staff from Purity Bakery smiled with satisfaction as their newly announced $800,000 Sponsorship agreement showed positive results with their Logo emblazoned on the Shirt Sleeves. The official presentation was in evidence on centre-field at the halftime break under the glare of Television Cameras and Photographers, followed by personal interviews.

An entertaining evening would also have 10 PURITY Gift Baskets presented to lucky patrons from a draw of Gate Prizes before two Most Valuable Players were awarded at the end of the game as St. GSC Captain, Jermaine Taylor and HVFC’s Jermaine Hue receiving baskets from the Carlette McDonald, of Purity, fully clad in a yellow outfit.

During HVFC March games a “Special Easter Bun Sales” promotion will also be staged for the Harbour View Community, Families and fans to participate in commemorating the clubs 36th Anniversary on March 4th along with the recently launched Harbour View Community 50th Anniversary year long celebrations.
