UNDER 21:

Tivoli 5 Harbour View 3.

Confusion reigned in the defensive unit as the fast moving Tivoli attackers went to work at will as they struck five times to eliminate the chances of third place Harbour View from reaching the End of Round One Final, as the visitors responded with three goals.

The pathetic defensive display seemed contagious as the senior team duplicated the lack of cohesion by letting in two early goals as the marking left a lot to be desired for attackers Derrick Planter to convert early from Nicholas McCreath’s square, before the former Harbour View striker notched one himself after being left free in the box.

Glimpses of the attacking prowess of the visitors flickered ever so often but did not ignite as the opportunities were off target from Lovel Palmer, Kavin Bryan and Gregg Taylor.

The game turned in Tivoli’s favour once again late in the game when substitute Lenworth Hyde Jr. argued once too often and received his second caution to leave the visitors depleted numerically while trying to catch up on goals.

Vulnerable and unsure another tackle from behind resulted in a free-kick just outside the penalty area for Fabian Davis to curl in off the fingers of goalkeeper Miller. Now more desperate to get on terms and pushing into attack another defensive lapse let in McCreath to steal his second goal by rounding the goalkeeper to inflict a sound trashing at Railway Oval.
