PREMIER LEAGUE:

Harbour View FC 3 Seba United 1.

Leaders Harbour View grabbed the lead in the 44th minute as a freekick from Ricardo Smith was curled into the box for Captain, Lovel Palmer to side foot home from 7 yards at the far post after it eluded many heads and the outstretched arms of the goalkeeper Gavin Barrett.

Seven minutes into the second half a full-blooded right footed drive from 22 yards stunned the Montego Bay supporters, as Lovel Palmer crashed his freekick against the nylon netting supported by the goal-frame as Barrett wondered around in total amazement as he anticipated the left-footer from the “Bigman” Gregory Simpson.

When Gregg Taylor finished off a well constructed play developed when right full back Kevin Wooley slipped a square inside the box for Taylor to pierce the Seba defence with a good run to the near post before diving to steer the ball home.

The penalty missed earlier by Palmer denied him his Hatrick as goalkeeper Barrett moved smartly to his right to parry for a corner. Then again he failed to shoot inside the box preferring to pass to Dodd who was surprised before being blocked.

Alfred Smith converted a penalty, awarded when the Seba player was brought down by Smith seemingly well outside of the penalty area in minute 78.

No Under 21 Games are played on week days.
