The Harbour View Football Club (HVFC) was on Sunday, October 21 crowned the champions of the Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) Under 13.
At the same time the Academy Sports Club extended an invitation to the Twenty-eight member Under 13 and Under 15 squad on a five (5) day tour of the Cayman Islands, from Thursday, November 1st to Monday 5th, 2012.
The aim of this tour is to further promote cultural exchange between Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, while promoting the use of football as a means to develop leadership in our young people.
It is the intention that Jamaican players will attend local schools on Friday November 2nd with their host player.
Jamaican players must wear their respective school uniform on this day.
They will also provide an opportunity to visit the famed Cayman Islands Turtle Farm, where players can learn about the endangered sea turtle as well as explore the flora and fauna, birds and wildlife of the Cayman Islands and experience an interactive dolphin show. Players will also attend local churches with their host family on Sunday November 4th.
Under 13 and 15 Games will be played daily on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
