HVFC General Manager and Premier League Clubs Association (PLCA) secretary, Clyde Jureidini, will visit the Major League Soccer (MLS) Combine in Fort Lauderdale this weekend at the invitation of officials and orchestrated by former HVFC player now turned FIFA Agent, Damani Ralph, of Global Premier Management (GPM). He is set to have discussions with representatives of clubs, academies, coaches, agents and the MLS.

Damion ‘Chullups’ Lowe has been offered a Generation Adidas contract with the MLS, along with former HVFC youth goalkeeper Andre Blake.

21 year old Reggae Boyz and HVFC leftback Kemar ‘Taxi’ Lawrence was the only Jamaican player at the inaugural Caribbean Football Union CFU/ MLS Combine held last week in Antigua, January 2-4, 2014 where he did quite well to bring new interest in his game internationally.

MLS also added six college seniors (list below) and five youth internationals to the 2014 Adidas MLS Player Combine (click for full invitee list), set to begin on Jan. 10 in Fort Lauderdale, Fl:

  • Braian Acuna (Argentina)
  • Quinton C.E. Christina (Curacao)
  • Andre Lewis (Jamaica)
  • Ronny Mendoza (Ecuador)
  • Stefano Rijssel (Suriname)

Both Christina and Rijissel were invited to the Combine as a result of their impressive play in the inaugural Caribbean Combine that took place in Antigua from January 2-4.
