A 22 minute “Phantom Goal” which until now the Referee Bogle cannot account for was gratefully accepted by the noisy traveling Humble Lion supporters and pleading, begging players who celebrated gleefully.

The standing Referees Assistant, was resolute that no goal was scored as were some of the Humble Lion Officials, as the ball bounced around the goal line, on and off the goal frame before being cleared up field, which then called the game to a halt.

Referee Bogle, was always unsure before ruling, checked his Assistant to be told No Goal, then ruled No Goal, before protesting, begging and pleading followed by enthusiastic players who rolled on the ground, went on their knees and surrounded the adamant Referee before strangely in midfield he again changed his confused mind, to now award a goal to equalise?

The slick three man combination of passes down the right flank, had John-Ross Edwards received a neat back-heel lob before getting away from he attending defender to cross to the far post where Rafiek Thomas headed back to the alternate post to defeat Shawn Sawyers in goal after just 4 minutes to lead 1-0.

A fairly even contest throughout ended even at 1-1, but both sides would think they had chances to earn a victory as Harbour View had more possession but Humble Lion’s direct play put them in with a chance to score.
