Kavin Bryan stuns the opposition with two telling strikes.

Kavin “Titaldinho” Bryan struck a double blow to the Montego Bay campaigners Seba United in the second half as his National strike partner Fabian Taylor scored in between both goals to set up a resounding victory.

Both strikers stake their claim to being the joint leading goalscorers on twelve (12) goals tied with Reno’s Ricardo Scott with four rounds of games outstanding.

The “Stars of the East” bolted in front from as early as the ninth (9) minute when Jermaine Hue slipped a neat pass outside to left back Ricardo Smith whose high floated square found the arriving instep of Kemeel Wolfe on sixteen yards from goal and his one-time volley lodged inside the far post.

The rampaging force was not to be contained all afternoon as the league leaders marched forward with purpose continually until Hue’s floated freekick found the chest of Wolfe in a well timed move, who was  then bundled over in the penalty box after at the half hour mark. Christopher Harvey struck a fierce drive against the bulging nylon to make it 2-0.

The first half completed the marauding hosts went into high gear on the news that second place Portmore United were stumbled in a draw by relegation bound Wadadah hence extending our lead to 10 points with four games to be played. The “Stars of the East”  launched into the over-drive as Bryan turned, twisted and then blasted a left footed drive into the roof of  the net in the 64th minute before hitman Taylor turned his marker about the penalty spot to slam home four minutes later.

The dominance increased even as the Seba aggregation vastly improved their attacking play but could not contain the leagues most lethal attacking force and succumbed to another wave of attacks when Bryan doubled his tally in the 89th minute by out sprinting a defender and placing it out of reach of the advancing custodian.

On Wednesday we play away to last place Naggo Head at Barbican where the title could be confirmed depending on our results and the big top of the table clash between second place Portmore United and the dethroned champions Waterhouse.
