Harbour View Fc completed their two game Tour of Toronto last night on a winning note by scoring a second 1-0 victory, this time over the CARIBBEAN All Stars at the Esther Shiner Stadium. The all important goal was scored by Kemar Petrekin in the 25th minute when Ricardo Smith won possession midway the opponents half then passed to Kavon Bryan who relayed to Petrekin in front of goal to beat the advancing goalkeeper, Stephan McIntosh.

The All Stars penetrated twice before being thwarted by custodian Michaud Barrett before halftime as Rafeik Thomas replied with a rasping 21 yard pile-driver that bounced of the upright. The half ended 1-0.

On the resumption it was all Harbour View as shots by Nicholas Dodd was well saved by McIntosh as Thomas’s follow up went high. Anthony Christie crossed for Petrekin to head to the far corner only for McIntosh again to save.

When Gregory Simpson’s long range pass was collected by Petrekin, he then outfoxed the defender but could not succeed in lobbing the goalkeeper in minute 87. The trophy for the victorious team was presented to Coach Max Straw at the end of the game and Rafeik Thomas was awarded the MVP Trophy of the game.

Harbour View return home on Wednesday.
