New Coaches Max Straw, Andrew Hines along with Manager Robert Lee left satisfied with the third consecutive win.

PREMIER LEAGUE:

Harbour View FC 2 Reno 1

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERAThe first half ended goalless but not without real interest as Harbour View’s ball possession was seemingly out of the reach of the visitors from Westmoreland but as Petrekin’s header soared wide, Loxely Thomas shot inside the near post twice from inside the box and Kavin Bryan’s shot blocked, goalkeeper Dwayne Kerr’s goal looked safe from any breaches after not conceding a goal this season.

Joint League leaders, the undefeated Reno came out the more assertive at the start of the second half now under its third coach for the season as former Technical Director, Wendell Downswell replaced former National goalkeeper and Reggae Boy, Aaron Lawrence who had taken the reigns from Peruvian Danillo Boraggio after the first game.

Their forays into the area proved futile as two headers from the penalty spot flew wide and goalkeeper Michaud Barrett stood tall in handling all else thrown at him. Then Kemar Petrekin and Loxely Thomas was substituted by his namesake Rafeik and Robert Scarlett in minute 62.

When Jermaine Taylor’s shot was blocked the defender hesitated a second too long as Thomas snuck in between him and the ball moving it and in return being kicked over as Referee Hughill Thompson signalled a penalty in minute 73. Rafeik got up to dust himself off and convert for the lead.

A give-n-go between Kavin Bryan and a third substitute Lenworth Hyde Jr. down the centre left Bryan streaking away from a scrambling defender to slot pass the advancing Kerr in goal to score his third goal in as many games in minute 81.

Then the bad habit of giving up a goal in time added on resurfaced for the third time this season as Kirk Wright was alert enough to push Wooley of the ball to slide it pass Barrett from 12 yards in minute 90, to get a consolation goal.

As Rafeik Thomas broke free his shot was well saved by Kerr as the game ended 2-1 for the hosts Harbour View FC.
