On behalf of the Premier League Clubs Association I would like to wish Harbour View FC the heartiest congratulations for defending their U-21 title. They displayed the characteristics of true champions – grit and determination.
Needing a win to secure their third consecutive hold on the title, they did so emphatically defeating Arnett Gardens FC 5-1. This win brings to the Harbour View community an early fiftieth anniversary gift.
Commendations are also in order for Waterhouse, Tivoli Gardens and Portmore United who made it a fight to the end.
It is our hope that these youngsters will take the same spirit to the Premier League when they make that transition. To all the other teams, you played your part in making this a truly memorable season, better luck next time.
