HARBOUR VIEW ousted 0-1 by Tivoli Gardens FC! Navian Boyd’s 65 minute header from Jermaine Allen’s cross was enough to earn Tivoli Gardens FC a precious spot in the COK Champions Cup semifinals at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex at Tivoli Gardens on Sunday, April 20th, 2008.

A game of two halves saw the visitors Harbour View dominant in possession and attack but failing to score after Rafiek Thomas missed an early sitter with Leon Gordon at his mercy on the ground after 5 minutes.

More chances were spurned throughout the first half as Kavin Bryan missed as the eastern Kingston campaigners waltzed around the pitch beautifully but had nothing to show in the bank after 45 minutes left many supporters disappointed.

The disappointment turned quickly to anger as the same intensity seemingly disappeared in the break as Tivoli now called the tune loudly proclaiming their awesome power at will until Boyd converted later as players ran in sequences in and out of spaces to execute neatly.

Kavin Bryan came closest to tying the game in the 83rd minute when he slipped it pass goalkeeper, Gordon but a retreating Kasai Hinds cleared from the goal-line in a hurry.

Harbour View eliminated from the knockout contest must now concentrate it’s effort on the remaining seven Premier League games to move up the tables.
