On a rainy afternoon, “The Stars of the East” shone brightly to signal the way to the promised land, as they dampened the hopes of the boys from August Town with four goals in each half.
Romario “RumRum” Campbell notched a Hatrick, Joel “Bounty” Nicholas and Donovan “Chocolate” Edwards scored two goals each, as the other was accounted for by Elton “Juice” Thompson.
HVFC now progressed to 37 points to lead the tables at the half way stage after 16 games out a possible 33, just two points ahead of the second placed team.
