The attacking midfielder who has had a dramatic first half of the Digicel Premier League season has lead his team to be End of First Round Champions, KSAFA Jackie Bell finals as defending Champions and second position in the DPL with a game against Champions Portmore United on Sunday which could see “The Stars of the East” grab the leagues leadership and return to the End of Second Round Finals.
IF Start has gained promotion to the “Tipperleaguer” and as such seeks to strengthen its’ squad for the larger challenges ahead, they see Lovel as a valuable addition if all goes well over the trial period.

In the pre-seasonal training programme IF Start has played against Valerengen FK, the former Club of Luton Shelton (of Harbour View FC) in Oslo. Start won 1 – 0 and played very well.
IF Start will play Odd Grenland (also a newly promoted premier league team ) at home on Wednesday (Lovel will not play but will train) and another game Thursday, February 12th when he will compete.
