The highest level of club competition ever attained by the former Premier League Champions who celebrate their Thirty-first (31st) Anniversary on Friday, March 4th, departs on Thursday, March 3rd, 2005 for Baltimore via the national airline Air Jamaica for their biggest game date on Wednesday, March 9th at 7:30pm in the Maryland, Soccerplex.
With snow on the ground the departure was delayed by two days as alternative indoor and outdoor training facilities are finalised in addition to canceling two scheduled practice games for Friday and Sunday.
The acclimatisation process designed by physical trainer, Neville Myton and physiotherapist, Karen Julius within the program of the technical committee outlined by Head Coach Donovan Hayles.
The management group headed by Vin Blaine includes specialist goalkeeper coach, Clive Wedderburn, Equipment Manager, Leighton Hutchinson and Assistant Coach, Sydney McFarlane.
The club is lead by the head of delegation, General Manager, Clyde Jureidini.
Captain Jermaine Hue leads the team assisted by Vice-Captain, Clifton Waugh.
National Players, Fabian Taylor, Robert Scarlett, Damion Stewart, Luton Shelton, Jermaine Taylor, Leighton Murray and Ryan Thompson.
Former Nationals Donald Stewart, Sean Fraser, Lovel Palmer, Christopher Harvey and Nicholas McCreath lead the other Caribbean Champions including, Marcellino Blackburn, Jomo Gordon, William Richards, Thomas Grant, Craig Stewart and Orville Campbell.
The squad returns on Thursday, March 10th, 2005 for the return leg against the Freddy Adu lead, DC United at the Harbour View Football Stadium on Wednesday, March 16th, 2005 at 7:30pm.

Two goals from Kemar Petrekin lead a spirited attack for the “View” , accompanied by Andre Whyte, John-Ross Edwards and Rohan Reid the junior waltzed away with a comfortable 5-0 victory.
PREMIER LEAGUE:
On Sunday night an unscheduled Jamaica Public Service Companies power surge caused massive electrical shortage problems that brought the game to a close after only twelve (12) minutes. While the Match Commissioner and the Referees waited patiently, along with the well behaved crowd for fifty-six (56) minutes, while the electricians toiled feverishly to correct the malfunction, but to no avail.
The decision was referred to the Jamaica Football Federation to resolve.
They in turn ruled the game be replayed immediately on Tuesday under daylight conditions at 3:30pm.
A early strike from Jomo Gordon after nine minutes when Robert Scarlett’s high cross fell kindly for him at the far post. This proved detrimental as the energy level of the hosts soared resulting in Gordon’s strike partner Thomas Grant weighing in with a long range shot that tipped the crossbar before going behind.
As the Rivoli United team worked their way back into the game late in the first half through a number of free-kicks and corners, goalkeeper Leighton Murray and his defence marshalled by Clifton Waugh stood there ground as the half ended 1-0.
More attacking forays by both teams eyeing a berth in the upcoming End of Second Round Finals proved decisive when a defensive slip by Craig Stewart gifted Garfield Reid the ball just outside the area for him to advance goalwards before driving a fierce grounder past Murray to level the scores after fifty-six (56) minutes.
Not to be outdone “The Stars of the East” galloped forward and when Thomas Grant rounded the goalkeeper, he was pulled to the ground leaving FIFA Referee Peter Prendergast with an easy penalty call. Clifton Waugh stepped forward to drive home his now trademark “cannon” even after an initial infringement resulting him repeating the feat in minute sixty-three (63).

RECENT GAME RESULTS:
After a ordinary performance against Arlington FC losing 0-1, then against Arnett Gardens going down 1-2, than a dull 1-1 draw away to Village United was followed by a come from behind 1-3 lost to inform team Portmore United, the Donovan Hayles squad will look to reshape the high performers of the previous round.
INJURY CONCERNS:
Injury concerns surround ace strikers Fabian Taylor and Nicholas McCreath but boosted by the return of the six (6) newly crowned Digicel Caribbean Club Champions (Jamaica) squad members in Barbados turn their attention squarely on Club commitments for Harbour View. UNDER 21 LEAGUE:Akeem Tremstead scored the early goal for Constant Spring but Harbour View hit back with first half strikes from Anthony Christie and Andre Whyte to win 2-1.
PREMIER LEAGUE:
It was a game of contrasting styles. The smooth flowing Harbour View attacked consistently while the dogged tactics of the resurgent leaders in Round Two, Constant Spring was to block the midfield and barricade the defense then counter-attack. This they did just once in ninety minutes, despite the presence of former international marksman Walter Boyd.
While the score line looked close, the game at the venue was far from that as the one-way attacking traffic was evident throughout. Good goalkeeping aided by faulty finishing and a lack of confidence made heavy work of average opposition bent on fouling advancing attackers, determined defensive teamwork, coupled with the intentional “not to lose but not necessary to win” attitude all broke down late in the game.
Near misses from headers by forwards Luton Shelton and Fabian Taylor, as well as Lovel Palmer’s along with Christopher Harvey’s from corners into the goalkeeper’s hands at close range did not change the score line. Jermaine Hue’s freekick dazzled the entire stadium after bewildering the stranded custodian on his line just to shave the outside of the post before going behind. The crowd groaned while the Constant Spring supporters breathed a sigh of relief before being reseated.
The 0-0 score line was broken in the 86th minute after ten minutes of constant demonstration by the Constant Spring players to the hand ball decision by Referee Lloyd Harrison after the midfielder had dived low to block the square from Jomo Gordon. While this ensued Walter Boyd continuous protest led him to removing the ball and earning a Red Card ejection from the game, managers calming down more players, supporters becoming angry and the game was dangerously poised to erupt in disrepute ahead of the security forces restoring control.
When the dust had settled Clifton Waugh strode up, and struck a fierce grounder to score the only goal in the contest and getting Harbour View back to winning ways.

A superb 22 yard left footed scorcher from National representative Seon Givens was the shot that made all the difference in a hard fought encounter.

Premier League:
Two goals from Kwame Richardson was enough to push Arnett Gardens into an unassailable 2-1 winning position against League leaders Harbour View FC at the Tony Spaulding Complex on Sunday afternoon.
Richardson struck after nine (9) minutes when he broke wide of the right side of the penalty area to fire a shot at goal that crept under goalkeeper Leighton Murray at the near post to take the lead.
Nicholas McCreath turned his marker once again and in his attempt to square the Arnett defender handled the ball, from the resultant penalty Clifton Waugh drove in into the goal pass a diving Julian McLiesh after twenty (20) minutes.
As the game increased in momentum both teams traded tactical blows creating a fine spectacle to the many adoring fans who turned out to the game despite the unfortunate death earlier in the week of dancer and community favourite Gerald “Bogle” Levy.
The return of the classy striker Fabian Taylor was noted by three flashing headers of which the first crashed against the crossbar and the other two just high from Robert Scarlett crosses. McCreath too had both his attempts go wide from within the 18 yard box, Palmer hit the side netting as Jermaine Hue’s blazing grass-cutter whizzed across the face of the goal. The climax came just about five minutes before the end of the game when three shots from Marcelino Blackburn, Jermaine Hue and Nicholas McCreath that were all blocked and saved within the six yard box.
Arnett too had their moments as Richardson, Shaw and Wilson created half chances from the edge of the box that all went wide. When Kevin “Pele” Wilson scored from a rebound the jubilation was short lived as he was ruled to have been in an offside position before the shot was taken.
