Players slept in later than usual this morning as last night’s game took its toll, the required rest and relaxation was needed to recover. A mid-morning video session greeted the squad as the technical and tactical analysis of the game was reviewed. Adjustments, strategies and corrections were made as we prepared for tonight’s must-win game against Sunset FC of Cayman at 8:15 pm. Breakfast and lunch were had, chores done, and low-key activities dominated proceedings as the group wound down to rev up for the encounter later.

Urgency was the name of the game, we started on the front foot in a positive manner: possessing and going forward. Ramoye Davis’ free kick whistled pass the near post as Ronaldo Robinson blazed down the left flank. A good seven-pass sequence ended with Kellijah Morgan slipping it pass the far post followed by Robinson’ s corner headed just over the crossbar by Captain Noel Walker; The pressure was mounting.
Morgan drove another attempt just wide from on top of the area as HVFC dominated. Morgan and Robinson both eventually struck and were blocked on the goal line, Davis also blasted a strike but no goal yet. In minute 26, Robinson’s diagonal pass reached the streaking Douet on the right flank as he strode forward meaningfully to score, 1-0. Just a few moments later, Morgan scored from a slick two-man combination with Davis to now lead 2-0. Chong threaded a neat pass between defenders to allow Morgan to notch home his second to give us a 3-0 advantage to close the half.
The second half was along the same mode of positive aggression; Davis, Robinson and Morgan were relentless in attack, knocking the crossbar and being stopped on the line yet again, until a stunning 23-yard free kick by Chong pierced the defense wall to score in minute 53 to make it 4-0.
Robinson launched again, twice, but was unlucky as the custodian saved brilliantly. Substitutions followed as Green, McIntosh, Joseph, Bell, and goalkeeper Irwin and come on to give the starters a break and them a piece of the action as they replaced Morgan, Daley, Douet, Campbell and Laing.
Last set of substitutions as Davis and McDonald were replaced by Parker and Wright in the later moments; The whole bench took to the pitch.
Robinson got another corner, which was converted on the second attempt by Davis to extend our lead to 5-0. Robinson burst out of midfield, down left, and crossed to Bell who hit the crossbar but won the rebound to score the last of the night; Game ended highly in our favour, 6-0.
