A searching long pass from deep midfield caught our defensive line out of position as a left-sided cross was latched onto at the far post by the experienced, in-form striker Levaughn Williams of Humble Lion. The ball bundled over the line from 16 yards by squeezing under the advancing goalkeeper, Joel Johnson, in the 19th minute to open the scoring 0-1. Truth be told, it was against the run of play as HVFC dominated early.

A more purposeful team effort from Harbour View in the second half gave glimpses of enterprise by the hosts, and Daniel Green missed a glorious chance to score his first goal as he headed it over the bar from 6 yards. The goal always seemed to be coming as the momentum built; HVFC was eventually rewarded in the 84th minute as a raking 25 yard darting pass from 18 year old debutant, Micheal Martin from Cayman Brac, flashed from the forehead of DeanAndre Thomas to elude custodian, Kareem Davis, to equalise 1-1.

The HVFC full press was on a blitz that unfolded in the late stages but no other goal was recorded, as it ended 1-1.
