An early season top of the table clash between two of the four only remaining undefeated clubs in the Premier League, ended the Reno fairytale run after three rounds on a muddy surface heavily supported by a large crowd.

When Loxely Thomas drove manfully into the soggy Reno penalty area before slidding home a grounder inside the near post just before the first half ended, it signalled the leadership of the new look Harbour View aggregation would remain intact not just of that game but the league with three consecutive victories on nine points.

Omar Dallas capitalized for Reno after just 8 minutes of all out attacks to lead when Leighton Murray fumbled an Andre Jarrett shot onto the crossbar.

The ball then fell invitingly to the foot of Dallas from 5 yards to tap into an open goal.

Captain Lovel Palmer equalized after 17 minutes. When the corner was headed on beyond the far post by Palmer as King chased he was pulled to the ground by goalkeeper Kenrick Blair. Referee Victor Stewart obliged by pointing to the penalty spot.

In minute 43, Nicholas Dodd’s pass down the right flanked was chased and robbed from the Reno defender by the industrious Kevin King to cross to Thomas to score and win the game.

A playing surface not best equipped for any game being drenched by continuous pre game showers only made a tough game more difficult but the commitment shown by Harbour View players was enough to hold off the challenge of a spirited Reno team. Counter attacking in spurts provided forwards Luton Shelton, Kevin King and Leon Strickland all with good shots on goals that brought out fine saves from Blair periodically.

Next Sunday, September 25, 2005 Harbour View hosts the only other undefeated Club in the League, Champions Portmore United at home at 6:30pm.
