Kavin Bryan’s toe-poke strike midway the first half is not enough for 3 points!

An enterprising first 45 minutes promised much but delivered a stalemate in the end as each team dominated an half but were unable to score no more than once each. Sweet flowing attacking football made mouth-watering views as waves of neatly constructed attacking sequences adorned the pitch, as Boy’s Town seemed transfixed in the headlights like a deer.

Lovel Palmer’s blast from midfield almost uprooted the vertical to rebound into play, this was quickly followed by a Jermaine Hue left-footed drive that crashed onto the horizontal crossbar again rebounding to be cleared.

It looked like it was going to be a long day at the office but the team played on in a classy style as Kavin Bryan shot high from a Palmer square with the custodian beaten. Hue shot wide twice from good shooting positions inside the penalty box and Marcellino Blackburn also spurned good scoring half chances.

When the Boy’s Town goalkeeper, Kirk Porter spilled the ball from a cross Bryan duly obliged from 6 yards to lead 1-0 at halftime.

Soon a similar second half spill from Michaud Barrett, gifted back the equalizer to Denzil Watson after 53 minutes as the “Red Brigade” roared back with a dominant second half performance.

Watson was the main attacker as Oniel McDonald faded before being replaced in the 71st minute but Barrettt capably handled all other offenses.
