Former national defender Xavian Virgo returns to Boys’ Town FC after almost two seasons at Harbour View FC, with the Red Stripe Premier League set to start next month.

Virgo is among a small list of players who had finalised transfers up to last Monday, during the Premier League 2014-15 first transfer window, which will be closed on August 29.

He left Boys’ Town in January 2013 and was a member of Harbour View’s championship team that season. Now, Virgo decided to return to his home club on a permanent deal.

“He (Xavian Virgo) has won a Premier League title, which was one of the reasons he left Boy’s Town. Now he believes that the club after struggling last season needs his experience. He said the club has a good set of young players,” coach of Boys’ Town, Andrew Price, told The Gleaner.

According to Price, Virgo is currently overseas, but all the paperwork was done before and he should be back before the season starts in September.
