Defending champions Montego Bay United failed to score for a fourth straight game after finishing 0-0 with Harbour View in their second-round Red Stripe Premier League game played at WesPow Park on Sunday.

The champions have not yet scored a goal in the 2015 calendar year as their last goal came on December 28 at Sporting Central when they won 1-0.

The draw saw them inch up to 35 points, two more than Harbour View’s 33.

The home side had only themselves to blame, with at least three clear chances to score spurned.

Sidelined national senior player Jermaine Woozencroft missed the clearest chance for MoBay United when he pounced on a pass from speedy winger Alan Ottey, but lifted his shot over the crossbar in the 45th minute, with the Harbour View goalkeeper at his mercy. One of Harbour View’s best opportunities to score came in the 40th minute, when Ranique Muir fired at goal, but MBU’s giant-sized keeper, Jacomeno Barrett, blocked well to keep the score even.
