HVFC and the Premier League Clubs Association (PLCA) invited and had 4 FIFA agents and scouts from Italy, Europe and the USA Academy here for the the Jamaica Football Showcase in December 14-20th, 2014.
Initial responses are that interests are being shown for about 5-7 players. The younger players trial at HVFC Stadium for 14-17 year olds for club and school players to possibly be drafted into their authorized Academy in Philadelphia, USA, went exceptionally well to impress the visitors.
All 40 players invited turned up, in addition to another 65 making it over 105 players eager to display their skill sets for the group of Philadelphia representative, Jeff Cook, FIFA Agent, Damani Ralph, Whylie Jervis, Atlanta based Academy Coach, Paul Young, Shavar Thomas, Alex Thomas and HVFC Coaches, Harold Thomas, Ludlow Bernard, Tamara Williams and Noel ‘Bobby’ McLaren were amongst the group. Very soon the players selected will be named and invited to future exposures.
