  • Ian McNaughton and the Barita Investment Company won “The Best Investor Relations” award this week from the Jamaica Stock Exchange, and was honoured amongst peers. Barita sponsors our “First-Kick” Programme for 4-12 year olds.

  • Striker, Fabian Taylor home from Norway got married to long time friend and mother of his son Giovanni, last Saturday, December 12, 2010. HVFC wishes the couple a happy union.
  • As one HVFC, National striker follows the next, Damani Ralph also wed yesterday, December 18th in Montego Bay.
  • Striker, Andre “Bullet” Fagan, arrived in Vietnam and has settled in well with former teammate Kavin Bryan who is already signed on loan until August 2011. Fagan played in his first training session scoring a goal to start off, he will be there until January 4th.
  • Two (2) Former HVFC and National Midfielders, Altimont “Freddie” Bitler and Lloyd “Bingi” Barker, visited home recently to look at young talent Under 17/19 years for their respective Clubs Academies in Norway and Montreal, Canada. They viewed a specially arranged trial that exposed our U15 and U17 Champions while lecturing to the players the virtues to becoming a professional footballer and international player. A few talented players were spotted and they will see what can happen, if approved overseas. Both players returned overseas, we keep in touch.
  • 14 Year old, Martin Davis has settled in at Valencia U17 Academy, Spain after 6 weeks, he was transferred to a feeder club to get valuable playing time as he equipped himself well, scoring goals and doing well at school. Proud mum, Dianne tells us he maybe staying in Spain for the Christmas holidays to keep focused, big-man thing. Oh, Happy Birthday Dianne, enjoy!
