The decision to replace the Head Coach, Andrew ‘Bowa’ Hines and assistant Dwayne ‘Bruckie’ Blake, was made following disappointing performances this season accentuated by Monday night’s loss.
Head Coach, Ludlow Bernard, assisted by two former HVFC and Reggae Boyz players, Ricardo ‘Bibi’ Gardner and Donald ‘Fowlie’ Stewart have been appointed to take on the challenge of qualifying in the top four (4) within the remaining nine (9) Premier League games in Round 3 and vie for the title in the semifinals and Final.
Chairman, Carvel Stewart announced the changes at the first training session this morning with the entire squad present before all three leaders spoke briefly to outline their ideas going forward. In addition, the vibrant U20 Team Manager, Mrs. Karen Lumsden was also introduced to work closely day by day with the squad and administration to improve team spirit and organization.
The squad trained for 105 minutes as the die-hard fans watched and conversed with curious optimism.
On Sunday, HVFC is at home against Barbican United at 6:30pm.
