All Media should look inquiringly into professionally covering every aspect of this most competitive League which unfortunately has been overlooked, failing to recognise the true developmental qualities that our future players grow up in annually, while a few take pot shots in preference to the more established and popularly marketed Schoolboy Competitions.

It must be our Sportscasters who are capable of recognising growth potential and positive trends in the local and international landscape to uncover “Diamonds in the Rough” the public awaits your knowledge gained through experience foresight, even to report it accurately weekly…surely this is an errors that needs to be corrected in a time of Jamaica’s focus on growing our game towards the next World Cup that brings this 18-22 year old age group into focus?

Or do we wait on foreigners to come in, tell us and start plucking our talent away before we respond?

The USA gets our players cheaply through the established College system and good that we foster that particularly for the players who are also academically capable to do both but some are better at football as a career, many of whom also play in the DPL or will do soon..oh, there is increased activity and more visits already here over the last month.

You will be surprised but look over the last ten years just how closely these results are related to the more visible DPL, or just waste a few minutes and look at this year to prove the idea wrong.

I just want to personally thank CNS for there early investment into TV Coverage of one of six games in this league weekly since last season, while the Observer does periodic glimpses.
