Another Fabian Taylor double strike was more than enough to extinguish the fire in the belly of Waterhouse as Harbour View scored the largest win by 2 goals to nil in the third round of the Wray and Nephew Premier League earlier today at Emmett Park, St. George’s College. The temperary home ground of Waterhouse as they put on the finishing touches at their newly built 5,000 capacity stadium at Drewsland is slated to be opened on Sunday October 5th, 2003.

On a day when four of the six scheduled games ended in draws, only Constant Springs’ one nil victory over Tivoli was the other three pointer as Harbour View eased into joint second position but with a superior goal average having scored four goals for and conceeded two, a goal difference of +2 as against Constant Spring with two goals for and one against, a goal difference of +1.
A disorganised looking Harbour View team at the beginning of the game, Waterhouse failed to capitalise on the many mix ups in defence and midfield as the teamwork was at sixes and sevens and were very fortunate the only ball in the back of the net was ruled offside by the alert officials. Gradually the coordination showed glimpses of happening. Late in the half one of the few counter attacking ploys was executed when Conrad Hunts’ pass found the very busy Luton Shelton who relayed to Jermaine Hue with his back to goal he pivoted, then slipped it wide to his right for Fabian who had lost his marker and drove it home from ten yards into the far post just ahead of the break.

Waterhouse seemed to be running out of attacking ideas as the game proceeded.
The second half saw a re-organised structure for Harbour View as Damion Stewart returned to his customary defensive role and the understanding of the teamwork seemed to click instantly as the waterhouse unit were stunned by an array of fast moving ball artistry that at times left the Live Televised audience in a dase as even the waterhouse supporters looked in awe as the ‘View’ came to life. Fabian Taylor latched on to the end of a Daniel Shaw counter square after catching Jermaine Hue’s left sided square at the back post to put the game out of reach. Another strike on goal was ruled offside but the excellent saves by both goalkeepers Leeroy Gray and Locksley Reid denied any further modifications to the scoreline.
There are no Under 21 game on Wednesdays only on Sundays.

This Sunday September 28th HARBOUR VIEW takes on SEBA UNITED at the Harbour View Stadium at 3:30pm following the Under 21 game at 1:00pm.

Harbour View Under 21 outclasses Invaders by 4 goals to nil.
Two goals by Kemar Petrekin and one each from Michley Wual and Jermaine Rowe were too much for the young Invaders as the KSAFA Under 20 Champions now reassembled found their groove and waltzed away convincing victors.
