Defending champions Harbour View will enter the Christmas break with a four-point lead after a 1-1 away draw against Cavalier on Match Day 14 of the Red Stripe Premier League yesterday.

The match was played at the Stadium East field.

The result means Harbour View have moved to 30 points, four ahead of second place Montego Bay United on 26 points.

Montego Bay United, who trailed by six points going into Match Day 14, reduced the deficit following a 1-0 home victory against Tivoli Gardens at Wespow Park.

Meanwhile, Arnett Gardens secured the biggest victory on the day by whipping Waterhouse 3-0 at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.

With the victory, Arnett improved from ninth place to sixth on goal difference with 18 points.

Tivoli Gardens and Cavalier are also on 18 points.

Despite the defeat, Waterhouse remained in third spot on 21 points.

In other matches, Portmore United edged August Town 1-0 in a bottom-of-the-table match at the UWI Bowl, Rivoli United and Humble Lion battled to a 3-3 tie at Prison Oval in Spanish Town while Sporting Central beat Boys’ Town 1-0 at the Juici Patties Park.
