UNDER 21:

No goals in a tight game that Harbour View squandered no fewer than five chances before defender Anthony Christie was ejected from the game with eight minutes to go.

PREMIER LEAGUE:

Loxely Thomas timed his arrival perfectly in minute 48 to secure all three vital points away from home in the second city of Montego Bay. When Nicholas Dodd played a give-and-go down the right flank before his aerial cross found the right boot of attacking midfielder Thomas to place beside the goalkeeper and score the games only goal.

Seba winning their last two games handsomely and not losing in the last five games entered the game on a high at home stating categorically “ No one beats us at Jarrett Park” gave leaders Harbour View the motivation to prove them wrong. The disc-jockey stimulated the crowd to cheer on the “Reba” crew as even the patrons on the hillside chanted and the massive inside the “Park” voiced their support loudly in appreciation.

“The Stars of the East” stood their ground resolutely for the first fifteen minutes or more as the re-energised Seba team roared forward but could not penetrate the defensive line. Soon the possession shifted to the Kingston visitors as the slick ball movement found its rhythm and surged into attack but they too didn’t score despite their best efforts.

Then four minutes in the second half, Thomas struck to make a difference and eventually win the game.

Opportunities went a begging on both sides as Seba won possession from goalkeeper Thompson’s error and rounded him to shoot at the empty goal but failed to score, as they again came close when on minute 88 the forward headed down and over goalkeeper Thompson in addition to the crossbar. Thompson responded with two other brilliant saves to deny Seba scoring.

While at the other end Luton Shelton beat everyone to kick wide and Thomas shots from distance were well handled by the Seba custodian. Victory number six from six games in Round Two leaves Harbour View on 45 points, thirteen points ahead of the second place Club.
