Waterhouse once again dropped points and continue to make their exit from the Red Stripe Premier League more likely, when they allowed Harbour View to score two late goals and earn a come-from-behind 2-1 win at Drewsland on Sunday.

Top marksman Jermaine Anderson had given Waterhouse a 58th minute lead, but with five minute left in the match, Harbour View equalised through Nicholas Beckett, who was on hand again four minutes into time added on, to give them the victory.

The win carried Harbour View to 38 points and into the fourth spot in the point standings and now in a position that qualifies them for the semifinals of the competition.

Waterhouse, on the other hand, remain at the bottom of the standings with 22 points and find themselves further behind the teams they are chasing, as Rivoli United who are a place ahead of them, outscored UWI 4-3 at Spanish Town Prison Oval to move to 27 points.

After a fairly dour first half in which both teams created and wasted a few chances, Waterhouse took the lead early in the second stanza, when Anderson collected a pass from Kemar Beckford and dismissed his markers to fire past custodian Mark Bryan.

Waterhouse continued to press and got a few more chances to score as they dominated the early stage of the second half.

Harbour View gradually wrested control, which was aided by Waterhouse setting back and trying to hold on for time. When it seemed that they would have achieve that feat, they allowed Beckett to head home the equaliser.

Harbour View maintained the pressure and found the winning goal in added time, when Waterhouse carelessly gave up a ball and Beckett let them pay.

The game between Boys’ Town and Reno was blown off because of a waterlogged Barbican Stadium field.
