Coming from a goal or two down seems to what gets the goalscoring machinery firing. Once again infront of our home crowd the end of first round finalist having to prove their worth as the new breed ‘Refuse to loose’ attitude came to the fore alongside the dangerous habit of conceeding the first goal to the opponents.

The ever present Denton Vidal was fortunately placed inside the box to pounce on a spilt ball that oozed from the grasp of goalkeeper Leeroy Gray in reaction to Theodore Whitmore’s under pressure flicked attempt on goal in minute 52.

The midfield concert was entertaining as it was breath-taking as both teams traded combination passes to and fro. The Home team clicked earliest and should have scored on at least three occassions inside the box but had efforts by Jomo Gordon, Fabian Taylor and Marvin Morgan blocked on the line by the keeper and defenders in addition to Jermaine Hue’s 20 yard curler bouncing back into play after crashing of the bar

Whitmore then replied with his band of merrymen in deliberate buildups that lacked genuine strike force to climax to a crescendo.

The three substitutes McCreath,Sean Fraser and Khareem Cooke all raised the tempo of the game and McCreath duly obliged in minute 88 having come on in minute 66, then a minute later appeared again to beat the defence and fire goalwards only to see goalkeeper Alrick Henry block inside the near post.

The game ended 1-1.
