Premier League:

A 19th minute attacking move resulted in the decisive goal in the contest as the young striker Kevin King controlled beautifully on his chest then having goalkeeper Porter at his mercy stroked it wide of him to win the game. The buildup from deep inside their own half meant the ball played to Donald Stewart to launch a diagonal to Ronnie Amauga who relayed to the darting Kemar Petrekin to cross beating the entire defence to find the waiting chest of King who converted.

Harbour View dominated the first 45 minutes as they strolled around the lush National Stadium field with consummate ease in passing across the back then choosing when to attack. Possession was the name of the game as the “Stars of the East” took time to get their rhythm back after the week and a half following the rains and rescheduled games.

Few shots on goal highlighted the half as a frustrated looking Boys Town chased leather while defending being starved to attack.

The second half was the complete opposite as “The Red Brigade” came storming forward as Harbour View seemed content to encourage the attacks while shutting out all goal attempts. However about three half chances went abeging as the Boys Town forwards were not good enough to convert. Harbour View stood there ground as BT surged but could not penetrate.

Rare counter-attacks from King, Petrekin and Lovel Palmer threatened Kirk Porter in goal but his two saves kept them at bay to retain the 1-0 scoreline.
