Group of 16:
HVFC started in the third Round away against Premier League campaigners, Humble Lion, at the Effortville Community Centre in Clarendon with a high-intensity performance to register a hard fought 1-0 victory just at the death. Young central defender Rennico ‘Reno’ Clarke popped up to head home a fine goal in the 90th minute to move the team forward into the quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals:

Travelling to Annotto Bay to challenge former Premier League club Highgate United was always going to be about concentrating to seek out a win, and so it was. HVFC jumped into the lead after 55 minutes when a well-weighted right-sided cross from wingback Daminan Anderson found the ever-reliable head of Damian Harwood to convert. Highgate hit back 10 minutes later from a well-taken shot at the top of the box to equalize. Regaining their composure, HVFC found another header through captain Nicholas Beckett in the 72nd minute to seal the deal and advancing to the semifinal.
