Heartfelt tales of missed opportunities abound, coach Sydney guided the trial of errors repeated, through player indiscipline to apply learned knowledge in action moments. Aunty Monica reminded the youths to savour the essential lessons learned, and Equipment Manager Michael demanded the highest level of behaviour from each player as a HVFC club member, always.
The technical staff reiterated the life lessons were going to be exposed by them as leaders, but the players must be focused to always aim to make the right decisions based on knowledge of disciplined execution. Truth revealed was probably the hallmark of this adventure, as players poured their hearts out, testified honestly and without reservations to recognize their individual flaws of judgement; Step by step, we will get there, slowly but surely.
