Former Rusea’s High School football star, Brian ‘Rambo’ Brown Jr, is back at Harbour View following a loan stint at Major League Soccer (MLS) club Philadelphia Union in the United States of America.

Brown’s loan stint ended on December 31, 2014 and the club decided not to take him back.

“His (Brian Brown) loan period ended at the end of December. He is qualified to represent Harbour View, but we are still looking first to get him other opportunities overseas,” Clyde Jureidini, Harbour View’s general manager, told The Gleaner yesterday.

The striker scored two goals in eight appearances. He felt that the playing time was not adequate.

“I don’t think I did enough there, mainly because of playing time. It was just not enough. However, my performance was fair,” Brown told The Gleaner yesterday.

He added: “The club made its decision as my contract ended on December 31, and now I’m back at Harbour View.

“The aim is to finish the season at Harbour View. I am looking forward to making the squad for the club’s next game on Sunday. I have been putting in the work since my return. The team went down last Sunday, and I hope to help the team get back to winning ways,” he said.

The 22 year-old says his management team is working on getting him in another overseas contract.

“I will just keep working in order to secure another contract,” he said.

He won the Golden Boot award at Harbour View in the 2013-14 season, then came the loan deal at Philadelphia Union last July.

Brown also had a trial at English Premier League club Aston Villa in 2012. He represented the Jamaica senior team once in 2013.
